BANKRUPTCY AND INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

Bankruptcy and Intellectual Property

In the context of Bankruptcy, Nevium will can perform two key roles:  IP valuation and Management of IP transactions. Nevium has been engaged by creditor groups, bankruptcy counsel and trustees to identify and value IP assets at distressed businesses.  In some circumstances our work has identified assets with substantial value enabling the parties involved to resolve disputes and reorganize around the business’ valuable assets.

Nevium has also worked with trustees, creditors and asset owners to identify, group and execute the sale of IP assets owned by reorganizing companies.

In Bankruptcy and intellectual property assignments, we have been able to achieve substantial sums beyond the expectations of creditors and trustees. We work with private equity groups to value IP assets for use as collateral and to identify new owners for underperforming IP assets.

Nevium assists in understanding the which assets can be used at the reorganized company, which assets can be sold and which assets can be disposed.
